We started in 2020. A mother, her son and her son-in-law — and everything you see in these photographs is ours, built and styled by the same three people who will answer your message.
Three people, one team, the same three every time.
Decorum Events began in 2020, dressing celebrations for families we already knew. It has grown the way a family business does — quietly, on other people's recommendations — and it's still a mother, her son and her son-in-law who design the setups, load the van, build the room and take it all down again.
That's the part we hear most from clients afterwards: being able to ask a question and get one of the owners, rather than a sales team.
Styled and installed, never sold to keep.
We own everything we put into a room — the frames, the fabrics, the lighting, the tables and the seating. Nothing is ordered in for you to buy, store or return afterwards, and there are no delivery vans arriving at your house on the Monday.
Because every room and every date is different, we quote per event rather than per item. Send us the date, the venue and which events you'd like styled, and we'll come back with a plan and a price.

Mostly Muslim families, mostly South Asian — not only.
Most of our work is Nikah, Baraat, Walima, Mendhi and Haldi, largely for Muslim families from South Asia. That means we know the shape of the week, what needs to be ready before guests arrive, and how to set a room with separate seating and a prayer space if that's what you'd like.
It isn't all we do, and it isn't a requirement. If you're planning something we haven't photographed yet, ask — the answer is usually yes.
We work across the UK. Dates book early, particularly between spring and autumn, so it's worth asking even if your plans are still rough.
